Equality:We believe in equal opportunities for all children, irrespective of their socio-economic background, gender, or abilities.

Empowerment:We empower children through education, equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to shape their future.
In accordance with Section 12(1)(C) of the Right to Education (RTE) Act of 2009, the Department of School Education & Literacy (DoSE&L) proudly announces the implementation of a policy requiring recognized private schools to reserve 25% of their entry-level seats for children from disadvantaged groups and weaker sections of society. This forward-thinking initiative aims to close the educational divide and ensure that every child, irrespective of their socio-economic status, has the opportunity to receive a quality education.
Education is a fundamental pillar of both personal growth and societal progress. By mandating that a quarter of the seats in recognized private schools be allocated to children from underprivileged backgrounds, we are fostering an environment where diverse perspectives can flourish, thereby promoting a more inclusive and cohesive society.
This policy not only adheres to a legal mandate but also highlights our shared duty to cultivate a more just and equitable community. Recognized private schools play a pivotal role in shaping the educational landscape, and this measure reinforces their contribution as key partners in our overarching mission to deliver quality education to all children.

I am happy to announce a key initiative to promote inclusivity and offer equal educational chances to all children in our community. In line with the Right to Education (RTE) Act 2009 section 12(1)(c), we are pleased to inform you about reserving 25% of seats in entry-level classes in recognized private schools for children from disadvantaged groups and weaker sections of society.
This step is crucial in ensuring that every child, no matter their socio-economic status, has access to quality education and the opportunity to succeed academically. The reserved seats are specifically meant to benefit children from disadvantaged and weaker section families, allowing them to enroll in private schools they might not have been able to access otherwise. This initiative supports our commitment to building a more inclusive and fair education system.

I am excited to announce the launch of the RTE portal for our district. This portal is a major step forward in promoting social inclusion and empowerment through education.
The RTE portal will help us find and support marginalized and disadvantaged students in Latehar, ensuring they have access to the resources and support needed to succeed in school. It will also give us valuable data and insights to create targeted interventions for these students.
I encourage all residents of Latehar to support this initiative and actively use the RTE portal. Together, let's build a more inclusive and fair education system that leaves no child behind.
